Bildessay über die Alpen für den Stern.
Für eine Reportage im Stern sollten die kulturellen und klimatischen Veränderungen in den Alpen untersucht werden. Anhand von zehn Schwerpunkten wurden die sich anbahnenden und eingetretenen Veränderungen verdeutlicht. Themen waren u.a. Globalisierung, Verkehrsproblematik, Klimawandel, Entvölkerung, Eventisierung, Tourismus.
Das Bild des Mountainbike-Rennen in Les Deux Alpes wurde mit einem World Press Photo Award ausgezeichnet.
Die Serie wird nach einer Unterbrechung aktuell fortgesetzt und mit neuen Bildern ergänzt.
Photo essay about the Alpes for the german magazine STERN.
The story was based on the cultural and climate change of the Alpes.
In ten different chapters the story describes the alteration of the region by different reasons: globalization, heavy traffic, climate change, depopulation, summer and winter sport events, tourism…
The photograph of the Mountain of Hell Mountain Bike race won an award at the World Press Photo.
The series is currently being continued and I will add new photographs within time.
