I photographed the pictures for the exhibition “If Found Please Return to Lagos” in the Kunsthalle Baden-Baden for the Nigerian artist Emeka Ogboh. He brewed the dark beer “Sufferhead Original” especially for this – at the same time there was a commercial film shoot in the Casino Baden-Baden and portraits for the campaign, which were shown as large posters in the exhibition. Migration is Emeka Ogboh’s theme and so the protagonists of the art action were people with an African background who live in the city of Baden-Baden and the surrounding area.
Why we need nature – for the 20th anniversary of the GEO Day of Nature I photographed portraits of people who care about the preservation of nature and take care of it. I photographed the protagonists at locations all over Germany.
On the anniversary day of the GEO Nature Day in Hamburg, there were spontaneous portraits of people for whom the preservation of nature is a matter close to their hearts and who were actively out and about on that day or who had taken an interest in nature conservation projects.
For this purpose, we set up a mini-studio with a light grey background at various locations in Hamburg, took portraits and interviewed the people.
Before the 2014 World Cup, I photographed the team behind the German national football team for Lufthansa magazine. A portrait series that I still like today.
